A dream customer’s belief is everything.
They need to believe in you, believe in themselves, believe in your offer.
Your offer—your dream customers, must believe in it, or they will never take action.
Never.
It’s the only way to make a sale.
So how do you create belief?
I’ve already written about how you create belief in general—storytelling.
This is specifically about your offer. How do you get your dream customer to believe that your offer is the best solution to their problems?
You need to show them a transition from failure to success within your storytelling.
So yes, you need to tell a story—of course, you do, but the story needs to offer that transition—from failure to success.
The Transition
This transition will take all the negative emotions built up from all the failures in the early part of your story and reverse them into a ton of positive emotions once success is achieved.
With your offer in hand, the character in your story has the tools to succeed—and of course, they do because your offer works.
This needs to be a dramatic change—it can’t be wishy-washy or subtle. It needs to be right there in front of your dream customer. They need to read along as someone just like them does the incredible, the seemingly impossible, and what your dream customer has only dreamed about doing.
They just saw how success is done—by using your offer.
What Happens To Your Dream Customer After Seeing Success
Precisely what we described—all the negative emotions about their failures will stop—in their tracks, replaced by positive emotions about their potential—the potential your offer can do the same for them.
This transition they just witnessed will start to happen inside your dream customer.
It will prime them for your offer, and they will be ready to buy.
The Fire Came Later Framework can help you tell this kind of story—full of emotions, transitions, and success.
The FCL Framework is the best method for structuring and writing stories that create belief—belief in you as the guide and your offers as the path to their success.
